Overview

Zentjong is a Mahjong-solitaire-inspired puzzle game for Android. The app can be played without creating an account and does not include a Zentjong-operated backend service.

Zentjong does not use user accounts, cloud sync, leaderboards or a remote analytics or crash-reporting service. Its optional play journal stays on device.

Information Stored On Your Device

Zentjong stores game-related preferences and statistics locally on your device, including:

This local data is stored with Android DataStore. Zentjong does not intentionally upload this local settings or statistics data to a developer server.

Private Local Play Journal

The app keeps an optional local play journal to show your own activity. It records bounded gameplay events, puzzle and attempt identifiers, session counts, active play duration, help usage, progression and setting changes. It does not record names, email addresses, Advertising ID, an installation identifier, precise location, contact lists or free-text input. No analytics SDK or developer server receives this journal.

The journal retains at most 1,200 events in Android private no-backup storage. You can disable it or clear it in Settings. Clearing it does not reset your game progress. Disabled diagnostics stay disabled on the next app launch. Process termination may omit a session-end event; this journal is not population analytics.

Campaign progress, daily and seasonal completions, reward claims, garden growth, achievements and accessibility choices are stored separately with DataStore. Android system backup may include this progress according to the device's backup settings. The journal itself is excluded by its no-backup storage location.

Advertising And Consent

Zentjong uses Google AdMob for advertising and Google User Messaging Platform for consent management. Zentjong does not currently use other third-party analytics, account, cloud-save, or crash-reporting SDKs.

Privacy Choices

When required, Zentjong shows privacy options in the Settings screen through Google User Messaging Platform. Availability of the Privacy Options control depends on Google's reported requirements for the user's region and consent state.

Users can also reset local Zentjong data through Android system settings by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.

Children And Families

Zentjong is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children.

Sharing

Zentjong does not share local settings or game statistics with a developer-operated server.

Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform may collect, process, and share data as described by Google and controlled by applicable user choices and law.

Secure Data Handling

Zentjong stores local app preferences and statistics using Android platform storage. Data transmitted by Google AdMob or Google User Messaging Platform is handled by those Google SDKs according to Google's security and privacy practices.

Data Retention

Local progress remains until app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled; Android backup may restore progress. The optional journal is bounded to 1,200 events and can be cleared separately in Settings.

AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform data retention is controlled by Google and the user's privacy choices.

This retention statement reflects the current Zentjong release.
